This week I am sharing another Educational Spotlight episode from the talk show “65 and Counting“. This week’s talk show highlights and explains Medicare Supplement or Gap Plans as they are also called.
Did you know:
- Medicare Supplement plans help fill the ‘gaps’ left by Original Medicare Parts A & B
- Federally standardized Medigap plans are offered by private insurance companies.
- Medigap plans are guaranteed issue and renewable even if your health needs change if you apply within your initial 6 month enrollment period
Who is best suited for a Medicare Supplement plan?
What do Medicare Supplement plans cover and why are they different from Medicare Advantage plans?
Adam Frye, the Host of the Talk Show “65 and Counting” shares some insight about Medicare Supplement plans which continue in popularity due to the ‘freedom of choice’ their coverage promotes. Adam will explain what these plans cover and what types of folks usually benefit from Medicare supplement plans.
